Our home on Cranford Mill

We have been settling into our new home on cranford mill. It has been such a sweet season. We have loved living in a home and having neighbors! There have been a few occasions when I have forgotten that we were not still living in an apartment and have said, "We are being too loud - it might wake the people downstairs." :) After 3+ years of living in a second-story apartment and worrying that our music, footsteps or conversation were too loud, it has been so nice to live in a house!

We are thankful for:

-  having a yard to enjoy and care for.  Our back patio has been so fun! *pictured here with a dog we were dog sitting - sadly not our own. :)

Isaac already created a fire pit in our back yard for fall bonfires and we created some new flower beds and are dreaming up ideas for future plants & flowers.

- having a neighborhood that we feel safe walking in and is full of potential for relationships! We have met quite a few of our neighbors and are excited to continue those relationships.

 - Our living room with a fire place! Our main living space is an oplen floor plan with the living room open to the dining room which leads into the kitchen.

- I love the wood detailing on the fireplace

- Isaac has been dreaming of re-starting his salt-water fish tank hobby. Although it has been 10+ years since his last saltwater fish tank, he has impressed me so much with the science and beauty of his hobby. I love that  we have room for him to take this beautiful past time up again!

- I love the natural light in our kitchen and having a window above the sink! I love standing at the sink and looking out at the crepe myrtle tree, our neighbor's crazy (and sometimes scary) dogs "Wolfie" and "Zelda" and just feeling the sun on my face as I do dishes.

- having a master bedroom with our own bathroom and walk in closet. Such a blessing! I love that our guests have their own bathroom when they come to visit.

- having a guest bedroom.
- Having an extra room, our "den", for work, study, and entertainment.

We love our place on Cranford Mill! It has already held many wonderful memories. :)
