Saying Goodbye to Grandma Getz

My grandma passed away this November. The last few weeks of her life were beautiful - she was weak, but her spirit was at rest and ready to go. I was so grateful that my momma got to be with her during those last weeks.

Pictured here are some of my favorite mementos in memory of Grandma. Her graduation photo, a wedding photo of her and grandpa, a blouse that is so vintage it belonged to my grandma's mother before her, and a plant that was given at her funeral.

Her funeral service was beautiful and full of thoughts and longings for heaven.
